Childrens Home Manager (Interim)

Start Date: Early January (Ideally)
I am proud to be recruiting for an amazing charity who support young people. I am looking for an Interim Manager, to run a care home located near Stroud, it will be for an initial 3-6 month period, with the potential for an extension.
Role Details:

  • Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Contract Duration: 3-6 months (could be extended)
  • Hourly Rate: 25.61 PAYE. For an exceptional candidate, higher rates can be discussed.

You will be managing a home for young people with complex needs and behaviours that challenge. Located in a beautiful setting, you'll providing a care ratio of 4:1 to ensure the highest standards of care, stability, and support. The aim is to support the young people to integrate into the community and work towards achieving independence as they transition into adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of the service.
  • Lead, support, and manage a dedicated team of carers.
  • Ensure the young peoples care and support plans are effectively implemented.
  • Provide stability and consistency in the delivery of care.
  • Support the young people in achieving greater independence and integration into the local community.

Requirements:

  • Must pass a Fit Person Interview.
  • Proven experience in a similar management role, ideally in residential care for young people with complex needs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
