An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Governance Lead to join a well-established private healthcare provider in South Kent, near Cranbrook. As the Clinical Governance Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing a robust framework that ensures the highest standards of clinical quality, safety, and governance are met across the hospital.
Duties and responsibilities:
As the Clinical Governance Lead, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and implementation of a clinical governance framework to ensure quality and safety.
- Overseeing the hospital's Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) program, supporting the IPC Lead Nurse.
- Managing and supporting the Governance team, ensuring compliance with regulatory and best practice standards.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives, responding to incidents and feedback to enhance patient care.
- Developing and reviewing clinical policies, procedures, and ensuring the hospital adheres to all legal and ethical requirements.
Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with a strong background in clinical governance and compliance. You will need to have:
- A degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
- Strong skills in data analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Experience in driving quality improvements and embedding lessons learned from incidents.
