Our client are a family owned growing business in the construction field. Due to expansion they are looking to recruit a Credit Control Manager. You will work as part of a busy Finance team and will involve contact with clients, their Finance teams, Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Managers and external Accountants. You will be responsible for reporting, cash flow management, accounts receivable, chasing debt and developing processes to make the function more efficient.
Ideally you will be a self starter who can hit the ground running with minimum supervision. You will need at least three years experience managing accounts receivable and cash flow ideally in a construction setting although this is not essential. Experience of using accounting software is also necessary, Xero would be ideal but you will definitely need experience of Word and Excel. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly family firm. You will need to get to the office most days but some home working is possible.
