As an experienced nurse, you will take a lead role in the care of complex care clients, ensuring their needs are met with excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference, managing care plans, conducting clinical assessments, and providing guidance to or team of carers. You will collaborate closely with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to ensure the highest standard of care.

Essential Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (Band 6 equivalent minimum)
- Train the Trainer or Nursing Mentorship Certificate or equivalent
- Experience in training and signing off carers for competency in complex care management.
Skills & Expertise:
You will provide training and oversight for the team in managing the following conditions:
- Spinal cord injury
- Mechanical ventilation
- Gastronomy tube management (feeding and drug administration)
- Dysreflexia & Dysphagia
- PEG management
- Catheter care
- Suctioning
- Neurogenic bowel/bladder management, including manual evacuation
- Oxygen administration
- BiPap, CPap, Nebuliser management
- Tracheostomy care and cough assistance
- Stoma care
- Anaphylaxis and EpiPen use
- Epilepsy management, including advanced care and PR medication administration
What will your role look like?
- Lead and manage the care for complex care clients
- Perform clinical assessments, reviews, and develop person-centred care plans
- Order medical supplies and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide expert support and guidance to the care team, ensuring competency in managing complex conditions
- Liaise with the MDT to ensure holistic care is delivered
