Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting on behalf of a highly recognised company in their field based in Mitcham. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to take charge of daily office operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient functioning of the office, supporting the team, and maintaining a productive work environment.

This position requires someone who thrives in a small, dynamic setting where no two days are the same and is willing to be hands-on with the team as needed.

Please note: This role is fully office-based, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-organised and productive workplace.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities, liaising with suppliers and service providers as necessary.
  • Develop and enforce office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management and various departments.
  • Organise meetings, appointments, and events, including handling travel arrangements when required.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring prompt communication.
  • Maintain HR records, assist with recruitment, and support new employee onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the office.
  • Handle office budgets and expenses, including invoice processing and financial reporting.
  • Assist with IT and system support, coordinating with external providers when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as an Office Manager.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office management tools.
  • Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in HR and recruitment processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of office health and safety regulations.
