Our client, based in Mitcheldean, work alongside several national organisations to support towards achieving their ecological targets in providing vehicle emission control services and have engineers based in Manchester and London. They are currently seeking a permanent Accounts Assistant to join their growing and friendly team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast paced yet supportive environment where you will play a vital role in supporting the accounts function as well as assisting with day-to-day office administration. You must be a reliable and organised individual with a proactive approach and 'can-do’ attitude.

Responsibilities:

-Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing accounts

-Reconciliation of supplier statements

-Management of purchase ledger

-Processing sales orders

-Matching, checking and coding invoices

-Filing invoices

-Handling telephone calls and purchase order requests via email

-Arranging shipments

-General office administration as required

Candidate Attributes:

-Previous experience within an accounts based role

-Good geographical knowledge of the UK

-Strong attention to detail and time management skills

-Good organisational skills with a "can do" attitude.

-Excellent communication skills

-Must be a team player

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm / 9am - 5pm (working hours can be flexible)

Salary: Highly negotiable depending on experience + annual company bonus, free parking and 25 days holiday + bank holidays
