Adaptable Recruitment are working with a successful business in North Wales who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small finance team. This position is focused on accounts payable and credit control responsibilities within a structured and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Processing supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Managing payment runs and liaising with suppliers regarding queries
- Monitoring outstanding debts and following up with customers to ensure prompt payment
- Allocating incoming payments and maintaining accurate ledgers
- Supporting general finance administration and maintaining organised records
- Previous experience in accounts payable and/or credit control essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically
- Proficiency in Excel and Sage 50 desirable
- Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and customers
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment
