Salary and Benefits£28000Study Support Office BasedFree Parking 35 hours a weekCompany pension schemeJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Finance Assistant will be responsible for supporting daily financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. The role will be hands-on and varied, providing support as follows:

  • Source commission statements for provider payments, liaising with providers where required
  • Format commission statements in Excel to upload to Intelliflo client database
  • Allocate income payments against the correct client & investment plan in Intelliflo database
  • Calculation of fees due and completion of sales invoices where clients pay directly
  • Upload to the database cash received data and match against commission statements
  • Maintenance of adviser work in progress pipelines, ensuring due fees are accounted for correctly
  • Working with adviser teams to ensure accurate reporting
  • Loading and posting purchase invoices and staff expenses into Sage
  • Monitoring the finance inbox
  • Ad hoc duties required by the Assistant Accountant/Finance Director

Essential Skills

  • Professional manner
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Experience in a finance or accounting role
