This is your chance to work within a dynamic team in a role offering full-time hours from Monday to Thursday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and Friday (8:30 AM - 2:00 PM). Part-time hours will also be considered for the ideal candidate.
Your RoleAs a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will:
- Maintain the accuracy of the companys purchase ledger.
- Match purchase invoices to stock purchase orders.
- Process purchase invoices and credit notes with correct nominal codes.
- Resolve invoice queries and liaise with suppliers via phone or email.
- Reconcile supplier statements with internal records.
- Investigate discrepancies between cashbooks and bank statements.
- Set up new supplier accounts and manage supplier forms.
- Calculate and allocate VAT payments accurately.
- Prepare GBP, EUR, and USD payment runs weekly and monthly.
- Manage the accounts email inbox.
- Provide general office support to the team as needed.
- Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency with Sage 200 and other IT systems.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and business demands.
