Hays Construction & Property are working alongside this highly established and reputable business in recruiting for an experienced Land Manager to join their business in North WalesBased in North East Wales, we are looking for a candidate with entrepreneurial spirit, enterprise, and bags of talent and experience to succeed in this role, and become a leading part of this businessCurrently operating in significant growth, this organisation has record turnover in the pipeline and has enjoyed an extremely successful few years under fantastic leadershipYou will be instrumental in identifying land opportunities across North Wales, Shropshire, Cheshire, Staffs & Merseyside, and you will be prolific in land acquisition, feasibility and controlling bids and contracts Your main duties will include:

  • Liaise and negotiate with a network of relevant contacts, land agents and private vendors.
  • Liaise and establish contact with Registered Social Landlords, Local Authorities and other providers of Housing and build successful, long-lasting relationships
  • Identify and negotiate market and mixed tenure residential land opportunities for approval by the Board.
  • Identify affordable housing sites and establish contact with Registered Social Landlords to progress the sites.
  • Identify potential rural exception sites and establish contact with Registered Social Landlords to progress these.
  • Identify suitable sites that accord with the expansion plans of these providers.
  • Speculatively identify suitable sites in areas that may be appropriate for several operators / uses, identify ownership, produce detailed information suitable for presentation to a number of providers
