We are seeking a dedicated Biology Teacher to inspire and educate students from Year 7 through to A-Level. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering engaging biology lessons to students from Year 7 to A-Level, ensuring that each student is able to progress and achieve their full potential.
  • Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Assessing and recording students’ progress and providing feedback to help them improve.
  • Keeping up-to-date with curriculum changes and assessment methods.
  • Participating in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school functions.
  • Encouraging students to develop a passion for biology and a curiosity about the natural world.
  • Providing support and guidance to students in preparation for exams and coursework.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Biology or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Willing to accept NQT or Unqualified 
  • Experience teaching biology at secondary school level, including A-Level.
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to the needs of all students.
