As Finance Officer, you'll play a vital role in the efficient running of the finance team. This is a hands-on, high-energy position where accuracy and attention to detail are key. With a high volume of invoices to process, you'll need to work swiftly and precisely to match purchase orders to invoices, ensuring all data is accurately entered into the system. This is a short term contract requiring on site attendance five days a week. An enhanced DBS will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a high volume of invoices and purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Match purchase orders to invoices to ensure smooth transactions and accountability.

  • Proven experience in processing purchase orders, invoices, and high-volume data entry.
  • Fast, efficient, and accurate with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in a finance role, ideally in an education or not-for-profit sector, is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Proactive, with a keen eye for resolving discrepancies and ensuring smooth financial operations.
