We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our client's team at a further education college in South London. This role is ideal for someone looking to impact student lives, providing essential support and therapy to enhance their educational experience.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assess student needs and develop occupational therapy plans to enhance their learning and development.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to assist students in achieving their educational goals.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to integrate occupational therapy with student learning plans.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed to optimise outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations within the educational setting.
  • Days of work can be flexible between Tuesday and Friday, aligning with the needs of the college and students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with students, teachers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work effectively.
