This role is ideal for anyone looking to take a step up into senior leadership, as you will play a key role in the strategic development of the school. You will need experience of taking on additional responsibilities beyond classroom teaching, such as pastoral leadership, curriculum development, or whole-school initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strong leadership and support to staff, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
- Oversee key aspects of the school's pastoral care and behaviour management strategies.
- Support the Headteacher in delivering the school's vision, policies, and development plans.
- Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure students receive the best possible support.
- Drive whole-school improvement initiatives, particularly around curriculum development and student engagement.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and leadership experience in a similar setting.
- Proven track record of working within SEMH or alternative provision.
- Experience of taking on additional responsibilities beyond classroom teaching.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire both staff and students.
- A proactive approach to behaviour management and student well-being.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
