We are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team in a brand-new Nursery setting in Morecambe. This role is ideal for someone who has experience caring for children aged 2-4 years and is familiar with the EYFS framework and development matters. The position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for development and progression.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide care, nurture and support to children aged 2-4 years
- Implement continuous provision methods to enhance learning and development according to the EYFS framework.
- Work collaboratively with experienced staff to plan and deliver educational activities.
- Monitor and record children’s progress, adapting learning activities to meet their developmental needs.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
- Minimum of a Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in caring for children aged 2-4 years.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and development matters.
- Knowledge of continuous provision and its impact on learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
