Join a friendly and supportive school in Morecambe as a Teaching Assistant Level 2, working full-time hours in a mixed Reception and Year 1 class. This role offers a supportive environment with ongoing development opportunities.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist in the daily management and learning activities of a mixed Reception and Year 1 class.
- Support the delivery of educational content, particularly focusing on early years foundation stage (EYFS).
- Help in implementing phonics programs using a schematic approach, aiding children in their early reading and writing skills.
- Engage with children individually and in groups, facilitating a positive learning environment.
- Assist the teacher with preparation and organization of learning materials and classroom environment.
- Monitor and support the progress of children, providing feedback to teachers on student achievements and challenges.
- Experience working in EYFS is advantageous.
- Experience in delivering phonics using a schematic approach is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young children in learning activities.
