HLTA - Morecambe:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a qualified HLTA to join an excellent school near to Morecambe. This is a full time position to start ASAP. You will be covering lessons while the teacher is on PPA.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the curriculum
The Role:
- Covering both core and foundation lessons while the teacher is on PPA
- Keeping regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress of the students
- Building rapport with students, staff and parents
Position Details:
- Position: HLTA
- Location: Morecambe
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm, Mon-Fri
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is essential
- Excellent knowledge of the curriculum in both core and foundation subjects
- Previous experience leading lessons for small groups
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
