SEN Teaching Assistant - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience supporting complex needs to join one of our schools near to Morecambe. This is a full time position to start after the Febuary half term.

The Role:

Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1-1 basis
Reguarly communicating with the class teacher to monitor progress of the pupils
Preparing learning resources and activities

Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: 90 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Feb 2025
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting children with complex needs within an educational setting is essential
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Team Teach qualification would be highly desired
Experience of positive behaviour management skills

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
