Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a school near Morecambe, starting in January 2025 and running until July 2025.
The role involves supporting children with complex needs in both small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
This full-time position offers a minimum pay rate of £85 per day, depending on experience.
Candidates must have relevant experience in a school setting, particularly with children who have special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Applicants must also hold the right to work in the UK and possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, or be willing to apply for one.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join one of schools near Morecambe. You will be supporting children with complex needs. This role is to start in January and will run until July.

You will be required to support pupils in small groups and on a 1-1 basis.

EXPERIENCE:

Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
