SEN Teaching Assistant - Morecambe:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to join an excellent school near to Morecambe. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible.

Role Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils in small groups and on 1-1 basis
• Preparing learning resources and activities
• Managing behaviour effectively

Position Details:

• Position: SEN TA
• Location: Morecambe
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Hours: 8:15am-3:45pm
• Minimum Rate of Pay: 95 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting children in a school setting is essential
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desired
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
