Due to significant expansion, a 15m turnover manufacturing business is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their successful team.
As Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for selling industry leading products to a global customer base. You will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and the opportunity to grow and develop your career.
As Technical Sales Engineer you will:
- Engage directly with customers to understand and fulfill their requirements
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Manage the entire process from initial enquiry through manufacturing to final delivery including the creation of detailed specifications
- Consult with customers to design tailored solutions that meet their expectations
- Prepare detailed costing and compliance matrixes ensuring that solutions align with customers agreements
- Ensure all products comply with latest industry regulations and guidance
- Create persuasive quotes and engaging customer presentations
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to track project budgets and time-scales
- Travel and meet existing and new customers to maintain relationships
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven track record as a sales engineer, ideally in manufacturing/engineering
- Sales acumen
- Relationship building
- Customer service expertise
- Project life-cycle management
- Problem solving, and time management
Salary and benefits include:
- 30,000 to 40,000 depending on experience
