Anderson Knight are delighted to be representing our keyclient on the key appointment of a Financial Controller on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial activities of the group and will also have exposure to board level.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and oversee the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
  • Forecast and control revenue, profitability and cash flow.
  • Maintain strict internal controls and ensure reports are submitted in a timely manor.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the wider group to provide strategic financial insights.
  • Drive innovation within the finance function to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Take ownership of internal audit and liaise with external auditors.

The main candidate will be a fully qualified (ACCA/CA/CIMA) who can demonstrate proven experience leading a team, ideally experienced working with a business going through transition.

Attention to detail is critical, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reports and analysis, maintaining compliance and ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial accounts and packs.
