We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Contracts Managers to join our client's expanding team. This role involves overseeing multiple construction projects across the UK, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. As a Contracts Manager, you will be the key liaison between our clients and steelwork erection teams, responsible for coordinating all aspects of project management, from planning and execution to final handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the full project life cycle, ensuring all projects meet safety, quality, and time line objectives.
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Coordinate with steelwork erection teams, ensuring smooth and efficient on-site operations.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A valid Driver's License.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • SVQ 4 in Construction Site Management or equivalent qualification.
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Managers Card.
  • CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) certification as an Appointed Person or Crane Supervisor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and client relationships.
  • Proven track record in managing construction projects, particularly in steelwork erection, is highly desirable.
