MET Strip Fitter

Location: Cumbernauld

Basic Salary: Up to £42,000 + Bonus (£50k+ OTE)

Choice of Hours: 40 Hours Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician / Mechanic Electrical Technician to join their friendly, successful team. This position offers excellent working conditions fantastic benefits and career progression.

Duties of the MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician / Mechanic Electrical Technician:

• You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' guidelines
• Stripping vehicles and assembling
• Adhering to all health & safety guidelines
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction

Qualifications required for an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician / Mechanic Electrical Technician:

• Will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter/Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA /IMI/ SVQ)
• Must have previous experience working as a MET Technician/ Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours
• Will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
• Diagnostic training
