CBW are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading Manufacturing company in the recruitment of a Electrical bias Facilities Engineer for a manufacturing site in the North Lanarkshire area. This is a first class opportunity to work client side to be responsible for the facilities electrical building maintenance.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing a first response for breakdowns or faults, ensuring priority targets are met for reinstating critical systems and aiming to achieve first fix/right first time to return systems to operation.
- Service and maintenance of all Building Services and M&E plant equipment
- Day to day liaison with the client in the planning and delivery of onsite servicing, repairs, maintenance and calibration; including diagnosing and repairing faults
- Determine equipment and plant upgrade needs for implementation and inform management in a timely manner, report possible future failures, disturbances and other opportunities for improvement
- Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients
- Carry out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policy and procedures
- Previous work experience in servicing and maintaining building services, gas and electrical systems undertaking pre planned maintenance and statutory compliance maintenance completion
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, interrogating complex faults within large commercial mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations
- 17th/18th Edition Qualification
- Ability to work on own initiative and/or as part of a team
- Ability to work safely at all times and the ability to communicate and report on Statutory Health & Safety or compliance requirements/regulations
