A passionate IT Support Engineer with at least 3 years of experience is needed to join the team at this leading local IT support services company (Managed Service Provider) based in Motherwell on a full-time basis.

They are expanding due to continuous growth and success. This role is based on-site at their modern office in central Lanarkshire, with some travel to client sites around Lanarkshire and Glasgow.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional client support, ensuring timely resolutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, and hardware/software incidents
  • Contribute to improving internal processes and procedures
  • Install, maintain, and support new hardware and applications
  • Manage and prioritise multiple open cases and mini-projects
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in IT and security compliance
  • Administer backups, system monitoring, and performance checks

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an MSP or IT support environment
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
  • Proficient in Windows desktop and server installation/administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Administration and Support, including M365 SharePoint and M365 Exchange
  • Networking knowledge: routers, managed switches, access points
  • A logical problem solver with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
  • Experience using a helpdesk system to manage incidents
