A well-established, busy independent travel agency is seeking a new Travel Consultant to join their team of 10 travel enthusiasts in Hamilton.
The role involves dealing with tailor-made bookings, high-spend long-haul and European holidays, and assisting customers through various communication channels.
Candidates should have a wealth of travel experience and previous sales experience, along with a passion for travel and strong interpersonal skills.
The position offers a good basic salary plus a commission structure that can range from £600 to £2000 per month, with a compulsory 5-day work week including Saturdays and some Sundays.

Travel Consultant – Responsibilities:

Dealing with tailor-made booking from start to finish
Booking high-spend, Long haul and European holidays
Assisting customers via email, telephone and face-to-face

Travel Consultant – Skills Required:

A wealth of travel experience would be preferred.
Previous sales experience.
Passionate about travel.
Personable, warm, friendly individual who’s able to forge relationships and build rapport with customers easily

Additional Information:

Based in Hamilton
Good basic salary plus very healthy commission structure which can range from £600 - £2000 per month
5 day week. Saturdays compulsory (approx 1 in 4 off), Some Sundays.
Short and Long haul educational travel - 1 or 2 per year.
