We grow, harvest, pack and prepare onions garlic and shallots for the UK's favourite supermarkets. Due to continued growth we are looking for an ambitious dispatch operative to join our small, yet busy dispatch team.
We work in a busy FMCG environment. Picking, packing, scanning and loading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift (ideal but not essential) and hand pump trucks. If you have the right license great. If you don't have the a FLT license but you have the ambition and would love to be a FLT driver, keep reading as we can train the right applicant.
As an experienced Dispatch Operative your duties will include:
- Picking customer orders
- Using the company in-house computer system (Linkfresh) and use the hand held scanners
- Rotation of stock whilst picking orders
- Complete dispatch from start to finish
- Order transport
- Working quickly and accurately
- Generate the relevant paperwork
- Customer stock counts
- Forklift License is preferred but not essential
This job is physically demanding and you will need to be able to lift heavy objects happily.
You will need strong communication skills and work well within your team as well as on your own. This is a fast paced environment and you will need to be happy working towards strict deadlines and time frames.
