We are looking for a Skilled Production Technician to join our manufacturing/ production client, based in Much Wenlock. This role offers a variety of work tasks with the opportunity for progression within this family run business. This is a straight permanent position with nice day working hours, potential overtime available if wanted.
The Skilled Production Technician will be responsible for:
- Controlling all stock levels including raw materials and finished goods
- Completing quality checks on deliveries
- Follow procedures to ensure production meets quality targets
- Working to production schedule
- Assess maintenance requirements on machinery
- Carry out basic maintenance on machinery
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and tidiness
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
- Driving FLT and/or Telehandler
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Computer literate
- Ideally hold FLT CB or Telehandler licence
- Manual handling
- Ideally have a basic understanding of machine maintenance
- This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a Production Operative / Machine Operative / Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver / Production Technician / Process Technician / Manufacturing Technician
