Apex Resources urgently require a General Factory operative/Trainee machine operator for their manufacturing client in Baillieston area of Glasgow. This is an exciting role for the correct candidate and an opportunity to learn new skills and a lifelong trade. Previous experience of working in a fast paced, target driven production environment is an advantage for this role however this is not essential and applicants from a similar environment would be considered.You will start off as a general operative, learning about the company and environment before shadowing an experienced machine operative.
Duties will include Assisting machine operators and learning to run the machines and all aspects of this role. Manual handling Stock rotation and location General production duties Some product assembly. Learning to run machines
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-2pm paid at 11.49 per hour for the training period and 12 after completing the training
