What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:
- Manage small projects from conception to completion
- Ensure that all assigned projects comply with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide project expenditure forecasts and contribute to budget planning.
- Perform chemical/process engineering design, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Actively participate in site safety initiatives and provide support for incident investigations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process safety plant information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, ideally with an understandng of project management/planning
- Good organization skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload
- A proactive approach to safety and a commitment to continuous improvement.
