- be passionate about a career in this field
- hold some experience in a similar role, safety systems of work and safety data sheets
- have the ability to investigate under legislative guidelines
- ideally hold a qualification in a technical field such as science or chemical or materials
- have NEBOSH or willing to work towards
Your main role will be:
- to promote a safety first culture
- support and coordinate EHS on site
- support production areas with risk assessments and risk prevention including chemicals
- coordinate meetings, take notes and action
- EHS reporting
- communicating changes in EHS
- keeping up to date with legislation
- involved in H&S and Well-being projects
- investigation of incidents
