Sonic Summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking School Support Mentors for a special needs school catering to children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.
These positions are suitable for individuals with some experience or those eager to learn more about special needs education.
The role is full-time, starting ASAP, with hours from 8:45 am to 3:20 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
The minimum salary for this position is £87.90 per day, with the potential for contract extension or permanent placement based on performance.
Candidates should have an understanding of childcare and special educational needs, some experience working with children, and up-to-date safeguarding training, which can be provided by Prospero.

School support mentor -

Prospero Teaching are looking for a number of School support mentors to work within a special needs school, which caters for children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.

These positions are open to individuals who may have experience working with these special needs, and to those who have limited experience but a passion to learn more within this field. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

A level of understanding about childcare and special educational needs

Some experience working with children

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year - Prospero can provide this
