The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for a Product Office Assistant to join our clients team based in the Baglan area.

Our client is a global manufacturing leader in their industry and is offering great progression opportunities to grow with the company.

Salary: Up to £34,700p.a depending on experience Hours of work: Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm Contract: Permanent

Purpose of the role:Elaborate and maintain the technical specifications and bills of material of the finished product for production.

Main responsibilities:

  • Create the technical documents of the product, of raw and auxiliary materials and ensure their permanent updating
  • In coordination with the Group Operating Process Office, manage the activities related to the creation of new products, providing the Marketing & Sales Area elements on the production cost
  • Check, develop, manage and modify the lay out, decorations and technical characteristics of the finished product and its wrap
  • Manage relationships with flexography and printer suppliers
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to the permanent improvement of products, materials and of the products palletizing system
  • Guarantee an efficient management of the reference reporting
  • Create the production batches
  • Check the production amounts made and the raw materials used
  • Apply the Corporate Principles and Value

Skills Required:

  • Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills, teamwork and leadership capability
  • Proactive and organised
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • IT literate, particularly in Microsoft Office programs
