NPI Project Manager - Glamorgan - up to 43,000 + Benefits - Ref 1835


I am currently recruiting for a NPI Project Manager to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan Salary up to 43,000 + Benefits.


The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they turnover north of 85m, employ 500 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market.


In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint another NPI Project Manager on a permanent basis.


In this role as a NPI Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple Electro-Mechanical R&D projects simultaneously through the new product development lifecycle via a gated process. This will be from early concept stage, through to prototype and then pre-production. You will then be responsible for dealing with the suppliers who do the tooling and manufacture of some of the components that ultimately make up their products. As part of the role you'll also be responsible for engineering change control (ECC/ECN) and will be involved with supporting the regulatory teams as products need to comply to the necessary standards.


Ideal Requirements:


- Previous experience working as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar
- Previous experience with NPI/NPD
- Understanding of Manufacturing process's (preferably Plastic Injection Moulding)
- Experience working to highly regulated standards
