Brook Street Social Care are supporting a charity offering a therapeutic support service that has been co-produced with survivors and stakeholders. Our mission is to provide each survivor with specialised, compassionate support tailored to their unique needs. Through the Sexual Violence Counselling service, group work programs, and one-to-one support, we empower survivors on their journey to healing.

As a Sexual Violence Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing weekly one-to-one support to survivors of sexual abuse.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Offering consistent, psychosocial, trauma-informed support for survivors of sexual violence.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to connect survivors with the appropriate external support services, including ISVA services, SARCs, and substance use services.
  • Assisting in the delivery of our specialised group work programs and counselling services.

What We're Looking For:

  • A compassionate and empathetic individual with a deep commitment to supporting survivors of sexual violence.
  • Experience in providing trauma-informed support, preferably within a similar role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure holistic support for survivors.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with a focus on empowering survivors in their recovery journey.
