Sales Administrator – Needham Market

This is an exciting opportunity to join a trading company mainly exporting a wide variety of automotive parts & specialist motorsport components.

The Sales Administrators responsibilities involve ‘business to business’ negotiation and order processing. The successful candidate will be directly involved in sales administration support, so we require someone with exceptional organisational skills and good up-to-date IT skills.

You will need to be motivated, have a good eye for detail, a ‘hands on’ approach and the ability to anticipate likely problems. Full training will be given.

You must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, preferably with the ability to think on your feet and the desire to make a real difference in this hands-on role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers and internal staff as well as work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to plan, prepare and implement strategies to succeed.
  • Ensuring orders are processed/dispatched correctly and efficiently and demonstrate ownership of customers, products and problems with shipments.
  • Research and Marketing to identify opportunities
  • Communicating with overseas customers
  • Preparing tender documents and quotations
  • Negotiating with suppliers and processing orders
  • Organising shipments
