Our client based in Nelson is looking for Mechanical Fitters on a permanent basis, the client is a world-renowned manufacturer and are looking for candidates with experience of assembling/fitting food manufacturing equipment.

The Job

Build and assemble large scale food manufacturing products
Read shop drawings and assemble high quality finished products under the guidance of our assembly manager
Ability to work to a high level of quality
Able to work in safe manner in line with the companys Health & Safety policies

About you

Previous experience fitting/assembling food manufacturing/bakery equipment
Competent in reading engineering/shop drawings
Bench Fitting or Mechanical Fitting experience
Must have good attendance record and excellent timekeeping
Pneumatics experience advantageous
