Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Planner to become an integral part of their operations team. As an experience planner you will be reporting to the Production Manager & Operations Manager assisting in ensuring that the companys production runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating production of the companys products on a daily/weekly basis
  • Monitor stock and raw materials to ensure everything is in place for production
  • Scheduling shifts and workers to provide proper coverage
  • Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management
  • Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
  • Finding ways to improve productivity, quality and efficiencies
  • Work closely with other departments and manage expectations

Skills

  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control
  • Math and analytical skills
  • Technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software
  • Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm (40hrs per week)
