We are seeking a diligent and experienced Health and Safety Manager, with manufacturing experience, who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety laws, establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.

Description
- Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies/systems
- Conduct training sessions on health and safety practices
- Promoting a positive H&S culture throughout he business
- Incident reporting and investigations
- Manage and develop continual improvement practices
- Manage a H&S budget on a monthly basis
- Report audit findings/action plans to Leadership teams
- Hold regular safety meetings with leadership teams
Profile
A successful Health and Safety Manager should have:
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, audits and inspections
- Experience in liaising with external bodies (HSE)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and quality standards for the manufacturing sector
- Ability to manager projects and lead change effectively
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Self motivated/proactive
- COSHH assessment experience
