Your Role:As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation adheres to health and safety legislation while fostering a culture of safety and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting and reviewing risk assessments in line with legislation ??
  • Supporting the Site Management team in producing risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Completing Health and Safety inspections and preparing audit schedules ??
  • Overseeing the sub-contractor approval system and engaging with our supply chain on health, safety, and environmental matters
  • Managing accident, incident, and near-miss reporting and investigations
  • Producing KPI data and trend analysis to track safety performance ??
  • Ensuring that the workforce is trained, competent, and knowledgeable
  • Reviewing health and safety queries and ensuring compliance with industry standards

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) �?
  • Extensive knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and CDM 2015
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams

Desirable:

  • Membership of an appropriate professional body, such as IOSH
  • Additional qualifications like First Aid at Work, Scaffold Inspection, NEBOSH Fire Certificate, etc.
  • Experience within the construction industry, particularly in the regeneration and refurbishment of domestic housing
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety Management Systems, like My Compliance
