Job advert Part time HLTA
Two days per week (Thursday & Friday) working in a year 3 class.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons, ensuring they are engaging and tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
- Providing targeted support to students, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis, to enhance their progress and attainment.
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to effectively meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Contributing to the school's extra-curricular activities and wider school community.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting the academic and social development of young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the ever-changing needs of our school community.
- A commitment to upholding our school's values and ethos.
