Are you an experienced pharmacist looking for your next challenge in a dynamic hospital setting? We are currently seeking multiple hospital pharmacists to join our hospital based client Croydon, with positions available across various wards!
Location: Croydon
Contract Type: Ongoing Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm) - 4-day options considered
Band: Band 6/7 and Band 8a
Pay Rate: £24 - £40 per hour, depending on experience
- Band 6/7Â -Â Cote and Medical Wards (Slower Turnover Wards)
- Band 8a - Acute Medicine and Specialty Meds (Fast Turnover Wards)
- Provide clinical pharmacy services on designated wards, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal medication management.
- For Band 6/7 roles, focus on slower turnover wards such as Cote and Medical, offering expertise in routine patient medication review and support.
- For Band 8a roles, work in fast-paced wards such as Acute Medicine and Specialty Meds, managing acute conditions and complex medication regimens.
- Review medication charts, advise on drug therapy, monitor therapeutic outcomes, and ensure safe prescribing practices.
- Actively contribute to ward rounds and patient care meetings.
- Be a key resource for junior pharmacists and support the ongoing development of pharmacy services.
- Hospital Pharmacy Experience is essential.Â
- Must be GPhC registered with the ability to practice as a pharmacist in the UK.
- Strong clinical knowledge in managing medication regimens for both acute and routine patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Available to start ASAP, with an ongoing contract commitment.
- Full-time availability is preferred (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm). However, we are open to considering candidates for 4-day working schedules.
- £24 - £40 per hour, depending on experience.
