Role: Multi Skilled Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum, plus overtime (paid at x1.5 & x2.0) and benefits (pension, life assurance, join share scheme, training)
Hours: 4 night shifts per week - Mon to Wednesday 6pm to 6am and Thursday 6pm to 1am
Location: Commutable from Barton upon Humber, Hull, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Beverley, Immingham and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in a busy factory environment for a large manufacturing company. It would suit someone who is Multi Skilled, qualified in either mechanical or electrical engineer and enjoys a variety of working. Team fit is hugely important, someone who is a team player with strong and clear communication skills is essential. This is a brand shift that has been created and to work 4 night shifts per week, supporting all general maintenance and repair of machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Focusing on electrical/mechanical maintenance and installation work across all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, shut downs and project work.
  • Identification of solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support the handover of work to the opposite shift and ensure works are logged and recorded.
  • To work safely at all times and follow safe systems of work.
  • To be actively involved in the TPM improvement process.
  • To work tidily and make a positive contribution to the 5S system.

Requirements

  • Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold relevant engineering qualifications
  • Experience of working within an industrial or manufacturing environment or similar
  • Worked in a factory environment, supporting mechanical/electrical maintenance
  • Friendly and adaptable working attitude
  • Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in
