Our client is well established HVAC contractor, who specialise in design, service, maintenance and installation of Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Plumbing, BMS & Controls. Due to a period of growth, they are looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join their team.

The Mechanical Estimator will be assessing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring that all financial aspects of projects are accurately calculated with project values of up to £1m.

Mechanical Estimator Job Overview
  • Evaluate project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of labour, materials, and overhead costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining estimated costs for review.
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and implement cost control measures as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating accuracy.
Mechanical Estimator Job Requirements
  • Previous experience as a mechanical estimator
  • Experience estimating projects with values of up to £1m
  • Proficiency in cost control methodologies and practices.
