This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile control systems development programme, contributing to the modern backbone of national defence. You’ll play a critical role in overseeing multi-domain command and control systems, both in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the operational lead on ongoing projects, ensuring smooth communication between project management and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Programme Manager to manage relationships with partners, suppliers, and beneficiaries, ensuring delivery aligns with contracts and best practice standards.
  • Support business development by identifying and securing new project opportunities through to contract award.
  • Lead and inspire your team, fostering a culture of excellence, growth, and collaboration. You'll be a mentor and role model, driving team performance and talent development.

Essential Experience:

  • Degree in engineering, technical, or relevant subject (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 10 years of Project Management experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities, adept at building effective relationships at all levels.
  • Confident in handling customer interactions professionally across various communication channels.
