Prospero Teaching is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in New Milton. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children who find mainstream education challenging. The role will be working with students that are in years 7-11 with SEN needs that impact their ability to thrive in mainstream settings. So we're looking for a compassionate and individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - New Milton Position - SEMH Teaching Assistant Start Date - Jan 2025 Contract type- Temp to perm Full time/part time- Full-time Minimum rate of pay Minimum rate GBP 85.10 Hours 9:30am 3:30pm Experience, Training, Qualifcations MUST have experience working with young people or young adults with SEN (personal or professional) Articulate, creative and dedicated to supporting children with SEN Passionate, positive & team player Confident & strong classroom management skills Enthusiastic and committed to teaching children with SEN DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one To be eligible for this role through Prospero you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
