Welder/ Fitter

Location: New Milton
Salary: 15 per hour


Adecco Bournemouth is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join a reputable client. This role involves working with mild steel and occasionally aluminum to create and assemble machine chassis and metal frameworks. Key responsibilities include:



Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding and Fabrication:

    • Mild steel box section welding.
    • Occasional aluminum welding.
    • Tacking and welding various assemblies.
  • Material Preparation:

    • Selecting, measuring, cutting, and preparing materials as per specifications.
    • Interpreting technical drawings and specifications with accuracy.
  • Assembly and Finishing:

    • Fitting electro-mechanical components into metal frames.
    • Finishing surfaces to a high standard.
    • Conducting visual inspections of completed work.
  • Tool and Equipment Maintenance:

    • Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications/Skills:
