THE ROLE

TheProject Architectrole involves running one or more of your own client projects under the direct instruction of the relevant Associate Architect or Company Directors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Oversee the design process from RIBA Stage 1 to 6, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Client Communication: Maintain and nurture client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and reliability.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Directors and external consultants to produce comprehensive design packages.
  • Documentation: Manage the production of detailed specifications, construction drawings, and marketing materials.
  • Regulatory Engagement: Liaise with Local Authorities, Building Control, and other consultants to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Site Coordination: Address planning meetings, construction queries, and maintain office/site relations.

THE CANDIDATE

The idealProject Architectwill have proven experience in design coordination and project management and have the following attributes and skills:

  • Qualifications: RIBA Part 3, ARB registration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Architectural Private Practice, with at least 2 years post Part 3 qualification.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong understanding of BIM.
  • Commercial Awareness: Demonstrates proactive commercial insight and risk management.
  • Leadership: Natural leader with strong influencing skills.
  • Organisation: Highly organised with excellent time management.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented.
  • Dynamic and Adaptable: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
