We're looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our clients team! This role is essential in providing day-to-day support with sales orders and contract management, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the flow of sales orders and supporting the contract administration process. You'll work closely with our sales, operations, and finance teams to make sure orders are accurately processed, contracts are properly maintained, and customer inquiries are handled promptly. This is an ideal position for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys coordinating processes and keeping things running efficiently!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales order process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Communicate with customers to confirm order details, answer questions, and provide updates on order status.
- Assist with the drafting, review, and filing of customer contracts. Track contract milestones, renewals, and expiration dates.
- Work with the finance and sales teams to ensure seamless transitions from order processing to invoicing.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, document management, and filing. Provide support with report preparation and assist in maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role, ideally in sales or contract administration.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with order processing systems (ERP knowledge is a plus).
Based near Newark, the role is commutable from Lincoln, Newark, Sleaford, Grantham and surrounding villages. It is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, office based position with hours of work between 830am and 530pm.
